Guaranteed stop

A stop-loss the broker promises to fill at your exact level, even in a gap, usually for a fee.

A normal stop becomes a market order and can slip. A guaranteed stop removes that risk, but the broker usually charges a fee or a wider spread for it. Not every broker offers it, so read the terms.
